While I market myself as a versatile copywriter, I’ll admit to having a weird obsession with animated video scripts. I think it’s because they’re so darn challenging. Not only do you have to say everything in less than two minutes, you also have to conceptualise the story, clarify core messages as succinctly as possible, use language that will capture the audience, and issue clear instructions to the animator, all while engaging the viewer so they’ll increase their time on the site. A lot goes into these cute cartoons!
Here’s a recent script I wrote for Fast Property Buyers, a lovely home-buying company based in Wales. I wrote the entire website too. It’s definitely worth having the same copywriter write all your media, as it guarantees consistency of voice, quality and messaging.
